Comment on this post for Fire Safety Issues, Suspicious Behavior, potentially dangerous situations that may be of concern for Safety Issues here in Ahwahnee Estates.

Note: Clifford MacBurney is a retired Fire Inspector and is an expert in Fire Safety. Cliff has concerns about the Fire Safety of the residence of Ahwahnee Estates and what would happen here during a Wild Fire. If you have concerns please contact him.
If you spot Suspicious Behavior of individuals and you do not recognize them, it is advised to get their license plate numbers, observe from a distance, post so others are aware of the situation.

Spotted a large Mountain Lion in the brush off of Watoo Court at about 1:30 in the afternoon. It was also spotted by another neighbor on Lulniu. This was around Dec 12,2022.

I believe the FireWise forms are due sometime around Dec. 15 or 16 2023? I’m hoping everyone got their forms into Cliff so we can maintain being a FireWise community in 2024.

I will keep this site updated with current information about the Ahwahnee Estates Firewise USA Community and wildfire safety. I am in the process of renewing our Firewise program with the National Fire Protection Association.   Thank you Cliff for all of your hard work on this. I know the neighbors that have had problems with Fire Insurance last year found being in a FireWise Zone/Program helped them get a better insurance rate. I think it would be great if more neighbors will make an effort and join in this program. Thanks again – Jim Hudson

There has been the mountain lion recently captured on a night time camera on Lot 18. This was early evening on Sept 29th. Best to keep your pets in at night.
