First off, we are very sorry to see Cliff MacBurney move away from the Ahwahnee Estates. He has been a tremendous help in regard to getting Ahwahnee Estates established in the FireWise program. I believe if it were not for Cliff MacBurney and Ray Beauchamp we would not be involved in the FireWise program. For all new residents moving into the area it is highly recommended to join our FireWise effort to keep our community safe and help lower Home Insurance rates. With Cliff leaving we can use help in this effort, if you feel you would like to help in this ongoing process please email the admin with your information and I will contact you.

I’m hoping more of the new Neighbors participate in the Firewise program.

Hi All, I’m also thinking concerning the FireWise Program, Miami Highlands should always be involved. I know all of the FireWise meetings at Ray’s have had Miami Highlands invited. Since there is one main road “Opah” out of both developments. Any large Fire would probably impact both communities.
